This podcast is a travelogue about a 5-day-trip on a canoe through the swedish region of Värmland. But apart from our personal experiences, there’s more: We’ve added the “Sounds of Värmland” to this experience. We’ve produced recordings of Sweden’s amazing nature. So you can listen to the birds and bees, to the lakes and rivers, and to the waves and thunderstorms.
You can listen to this podcast in case you’re planning a trip to Sweden for yourself and you might need some useful information. Or you just want to listen to the sounds of nature when you’re studying, or you might want to fall asleep.
In any case, enjoy!
Lukas & Josh
In the first chapter you’re going to get insights in our personal journey. You will get to know what we brought with us and how we prepared for the trip. Also you’ll get to know the staff of Arvika Canot & Turist Center. This center was our partner for the production of this podcast.
Afterwards you can listen to various chapters of field-recordings. We left our professional audio material alone in the woods, at the riverside or on our boat to record the most impressive sounds.
If you want to read our story, here you’ll find the article in German and English.
